01 Academic Excellence at the Core: Connecting the International Research Community
Single-cell biology is advancing towards increasingly precise and dynamic scales of investigation, while its applications continue to expand across microbiology, biotechnology and biomedicine. Focusing on single-cell analysis, phenotypic characterisation and advanced single-cell sorting technologies, the Oxford Single-Cell Biology Symposium will take place on 7 August 2026 at the Department of Biology, University of Oxford, UK.
The symposium is jointly convened by Professor Wei Huang of the University of Oxford, Professor Huabing Yin of the University of Glasgow, and Hooke Instruments. Experts and scholars from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Glasgow, University of Birmingham, University of Southampton, University of Tokyo, Nagoya University and other universities and research institutions will exchange views on single-cell analysis, Raman spectroscopy, microfluidics and cell sorting, further strengthening connections among leading academic groups in the global single-cell field.
The symposium will bring together leading international scholars whose research spans single-cell Raman spectroscopy, microfluidics, cancer metabolism, biochemistry and microbiology. It will provide a high-level forum for interdisciplinary exchange and international research collaboration.

02 From Frontier Research Exchange to Live Validation
During the symposium, Hooke Instruments will present the PRECI SCS-R300-F Single-Cell Multimodal Analysis and Sorting System and conduct a live demonstration. Through presentations, discussions and hands-on system demonstrations, participants will gain a clearer understanding of the technology's workflow and application potential. The session will also provide an opportunity for face-to-face discussion of research needs and technical validation across different fields.
